Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer to lead the development of a cutting-edge, multi-tenant AI governance platform on Microsoft Azure. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and implementing secure, scalable services; integrating Azure ML responsible AI tooling and Microsoft Purview; and enforcing policy guardrails with Azure Policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build multi-tenant back-end services on Azure (App Service/AKS/Functions) behind Azure API Management, ensuring tenant isolation, rate limits, and API versioning.
  • Integrate Azure ML model registry and endpoints, as well as Responsible AI Dashboard/Toolbox, to generate fairness, error, and explainability reports.
  • Implement Azure AI Content Safety checks in the prompt/response path, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Connect datasets, prompts/outputs, and lineage to Microsoft Purview, building audit/reporting workflows that meet compliance requirements.
  • Enforce Azure Policy baselines, including networking, encryption, and diagnostics, while maintaining repeatable deployments through Infrastructure as Code.
  • Build observability features, such as App Insights and Log Analytics, SLOs, alerting, and secure secret management using Key Vault.
  • Collaborate with Product and Compliance teams to develop governance features, including access reviews, approvals, and audit exports.

Required Skills:

  • At least 5 years of experience building cloud services, preferably on Azure, with expertise in multi-tenant architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with API Management, App Service or AKS, Functions, Key Vault, Azure Monitor/Log Analytics, and Azure ML.
  • Proficiency in C#/.NET, Node.js/TypeScript, or Python, with knowledge of SQL and Cosmos databases, as well as CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
  • Security and Compliance fundamentals, including RBAC, Private Endpoints, encryption at rest/in transit, and Azure Policy.

Nice to Have:

  • Microsoft Purview experience, specifically with catalog, lineage, and access policies.
  • Content moderation integrations with Azure AI Content Safety.
  • Experience working in regulated environments, such as healthcare or finance, with data residency/sovereignty considerations.
