Identity Governance and Compliance Specialist

SailPoint IdentityIQ is a comprehensive identity governance platform designed to provide end-to-end visibility into user access rights across the enterprise. As an experienced SailPoint IdentityIQ Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, development, and deployment of SailPoint IIQ solutions ensuring enterprise-wide identity governance and compliance.

The ideal candidate for this position will have strong technical skills in SailPoint IdentityIQ, with experience in configuring and customizing SailPoint IIQ modules, as well as integrating IIQ with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, Oracle, and cloud applications.

In addition to technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define IAM requirements and translate them into IIQ solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions across the enterprise.
  • Develop and configure connectors, workflows, rules, and policies for user provisioning, de-provisioning, access certification, and access request.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define IAM requirements and translate them into IIQ solutions.
  • Integrate SailPoint IIQ with enterprise applications such as Active Directory, LDAP, Databases, SaaS applications, HR systems like Workday/Oracle HCM.
  • Implement Lifecycle Management (LCM), Access Certification Campaigns, Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC), Segregation of Duties (SoD).
  • Optimize and troubleshoot IIQ configurations, workflows, and performance issues.
  • Support production deployments, upgrades, patches, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior IAM engineers.
  • Ensure IAM processes align with security policies, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), with 3–5 years hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ expertise.
  • Strong development experience in Java, BeanShell, XML, and web services (SOAP/REST APIs).
  • Experience in configuring and customizing SailPoint IIQ modules (Provisioning, Compliance Manager, Lifecycle Manager, Identity Warehouse).
  • Knowledge of IAM standards & protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM).
  • Experience integrating IIQ with enterprise systems (Active Directory, LDAP, Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, Oracle, cloud apps).
  • Strong understanding of RBAC, SoD, and Identity Governance principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux, Windows, Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
