Job Title: AI Governance Specialist

The Applications Engineer plays a critical role in driving the strategic implementation and governance of AI tools such as Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Protection: Configure data privacy controls to prevent sensitive data training and enforce zero-retention policies.
  • Compliance Reporting: Deliver comprehensive audit logs and compliance reporting for OpenAI usage.
  • Security and Reliability: Implement robust guardrails and moderation tools to enhance security and reliability of AI applications.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track model performance and usage metrics and produce regular reports for leadership.
  • Prompt Engineering: Optimize prompt engineering and evaluate cost/performance trade-offs to maximize efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot API calls, latency, and integration failures to ensure seamless operation.
  • Knowledge Base Development: Maintain an internal admin guide with setup/configuration steps and governance rules.
  • Training and Development: Develop knowledge bases and wikis for developers and end users.
  • Escalation Point: Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for OpenAI-related incidents.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with security, compliance, and engineering teams to expand safe and responsible use of AI tools.

Deliverables:

  • AI Governance Expertise: Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AI tools and oversee their overall governance.
  • Default Project Space Management: Address issues related to the Default Project space.
  • AI Environment Security: Ensure the security of the AI environment and its data by mitigating open business risks.
  • Third-Party Integration: Enable AI tool functionalities for third-party applications.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in AI applications engineering.
  • Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in AI tools, particularly Google Gemini, OpenAI, and Anthropic.
  • Data Privacy and Compliance: Strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
