Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the role of Business Development Manager.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned business development expert to drive growth and expansion in assigned countries. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing partnerships and identifying new opportunities to increase market penetration in allocated regions.
Key Responsibilities:- Partnership Management: Collaborate with existing partners to achieve revenue targets for allocated regions, negotiate pricing and costs to ensure profitability, and explore new opportunities with Ministry of Health for emergency supplies.
- Marketing Support: Strategize and execute marketing plans in coordination with partners to enhance Cipla's brand image, provide video conference support for doctors, and connect them seamlessly on conferences.
- New Product Identification: Identify and recommend new products in existing portfolios to achieve expansion and growth in sales for assigned countries, prepare end-to-end business cases, and submit to regional heads for decision making and approval.
- Sales Order Execution: Resolve major bottlenecks/issues hampering order execution, validate all documentation related to orders, manage batch-size issues, and ensure adequate supply of products within Oncology, Thalassemia, and ARV therapies.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- MBA from a Leading Business School (Tier 1), preferably in International Business.
- 4-7 years of experience in business development within a pharma company, handling complex business regions, with 1-2 years of on-field exposure.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
