Loan Operations Specialist

The Loan Operations team plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth closing of commercial loan transactions. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for reviewing and coordinating all aspects of loan documentation, from attorney-prepared documents to complex loan structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and coordinate loan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with lender and agency requirements.
  • Understand and interpret complex loan structures and documentation, including large syndicated and bilateral transactions.
  • Prepare and review credit agreements, guarantees, flood documents, collateral insurance, and tax documents.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between credit, sales, and legal departments.
  • Interact with internal customers, collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
Requirements:
  • Min 5 years' experience in commercial deal closing functions, document preparation, and review across bilateral and syndicated loans.
  • Excellent knowledge in ACBS/Loan IQ/AFS Loan Management Systems.
  • Hands-on experience in Signature UI, Abrigo applications adds additional value.
  • Commerce Graduate/MBA (Finance).
  • Good understanding of project management principles.
  • Excellent written and strong business communication skills to deal with various stakeholders.
  • Client management skills.
Competencies:
  • Understanding of lending lifecycle with excellent understanding of loan agreements, security agreements, and other loan documents.
