Job Summary

The role requires a Senior Python Developer Lead with advanced Python development skills to oversee end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable Python-based applications.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MongoDB, Redis, FastAPI, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate React-based frontends and backend services.

The successful candidate will also work with data platforms including Impala for high-performance querying and Autosys for job scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with stakeholders from banking operations, risk, and compliance to align technical solutions with business needs.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards across all development efforts.
  • Mentor and manage a team of 10–15 developers, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Drive agile development practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Requirements:

  • Over 15 years of total and over 10 years of hands-on experience with last 5-6 years into advanced Python development and design patterns.
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is mandatory.
