Our client, a global leader in 3D design and engineering software, is seeking an experienced Collaboration Systems Engineer to join their team.

This role involves automating business processes, participating in technical designs of platforms, and managing ongoing feature changes in collaboration applications. Strong technical expertise and collaboration skills are essential for success in this position.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in technology support and administration of collaboration tools. They should also have extensive knowledge of Microsoft suite administration and collaboration security frameworks, including Exchange Online and Teams.

In addition, the successful candidate will have experience using various programming languages such as Powershell, PowerBI, APIs, Webservices, Python, C++, JavaScript, and Power Platform. They should be able to build and deploy services efficiently and effectively.

The Collaboration Systems Engineer will work closely with internal and external partners to establish strong relationships with users and deliver efficient, secure, and practical solutions that enhance productivity experiences.

Beyond technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative atmosphere and offer succinct solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and optimize collaboration systems, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance, capacity planning, and scalability.
  • Record and manage changes, configurations, incidents, problems, and processes.
  • Ensure system security, implement standards, and respond to failures or performance issues.
  • Produce performance, capacity, availability, and security reports for senior management.
  • Write technical documentation and collaborate on ongoing issues and projects.
