Data Integration Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data integration specialist to lead the design, development, and deployment of complex ETL solutions using Informatica IDMC.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, documenting, testing, and maintaining ETL applications and will take ownership in delivering scalable solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • ETL Solution Design and Development: Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex ETL solutions using Informatica IDMC.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data architects to define technical requirements and translate them into efficient ETL workflows.
  • Data Pipeline Development: Develop, document, unit test, and maintain high-quality data pipelines that support both batch and incremental (CDC-based) data processing.
  • Mappings and Taskflows: Configure and manage mappings, mapping tasks, taskflows, secure agents, runtime environments, and connection parameters.
  • Data Transformation Logic: Design and implement robust data transformation logic, including cleansing, enrichment, joins, lookups, aggregations, hierarchical, and semi-structured data.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize mapping performance through pushdown optimization, partitioning, and data minimization techniques.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues promptly.

Requirements:
  • Technical Skills: SQL, IDMC (CDI), ETL Concepts Base, Informatica, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, GCP.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business requirements and ability to translate them into technical solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex data integration issues.
