Job Description

We are seeking an experienced App Monitoring Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in monitoring and analytics, with expertise in Dynatrace setup and configuration.

This role involves working closely with the application and platform teams to ensure seamless monitoring and alerting of applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting user issues, performing root cause analysis, and identifying recurring issues.

The App Monitoring Expert will also be responsible for setting up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk, defining and fine-tuning alerts, and integrating Dynatrace alerts in incident management tooling.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting user issues and performing root cause analysis
  • Identifying recurring issues and ensuring long-term fixes
  • Setting up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk
  • Defining and fine-tuning alerts
  • Integrating Dynatrace alerts in incident management tooling
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience with Dynatrace setup and configuration
  • Experience in operational application management
  • Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks
  • Ability to analyze and optimize application code with respect to error handling and alerting
  • Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience in a similar liaison role between application and platform teams
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles
