Job Title: Performance Test Lead

We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Lead to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for leading and executing performance testing activities across various applications and platforms.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performance testing methodologies and tools, as well as strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation of tests. They will also have hands-on experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or other) and knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute performance testing activities across various applications and platforms.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute performance test scripts using Python and relevant performance testing tools.
  • Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure optimal system performance and scalability.
  • Design and implement performance testing strategies aligned with business requirements.
  • Conduct load, stress, scalability, and endurance testing in cloud environments.
  • Motify and report on performance metrics and provide actionable insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in performance testing methodologies and tools.
  • Strong proficiency in Python for scripting and automation of tests.
  • Hands-on experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or other).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of performance tests in automated workflows.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
