Job Description

We are a leading food company with a strong presence in the ethnic food category. Our brands, well-known for their high-quality products, have a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pune, where we produce a range of products including pickles, tomato sauces, spices, chutneys, papadams, cooking pastes, curry powder, ready to cook products, and ready Indian meals.

Key Responsibilities

As an Executive R&D (Pickle Category), you will drive innovation and improve product processes. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with Marketing, Sales, and Exports teams to identify new product opportunities
  • Staying updated on food technology trends and innovations
  • Reviewing product/process literature to drive improvements and cost efficiency
  • Visiting vendor sites to suggest changes as needed
  • Conducting scheduled sensory evaluations
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, or Microbiology. You should also have at least 5 years of experience in R&D, specifically in the pickle category. Your skills and qualifications include:

  • B.Tech./M.Tech. (Food Technology) or B.Sc./M.Sc. (Chemistry/Microbiology)
  • 5+ years of experience in R&D (Pickles)
