Lead Loan Operations in India

About the Role:

The Assistant Vice President will oversee and manage end-to-end loan processing for India branches, ensuring operational efficiency, risk control, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a high-performance team and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning to support business goals and client satisfaction.
  • Manage daily operations, drive process improvements, and deliver excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform due diligence duties diligently and work closely with overseas teams to process transactions accurately and within quality standards.
  • Learn system functions, adhere to controls, and provide suggestions to improve or streamline operational processes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the organization.
  • Support and resolve customer enquiries, provide exceptional customer service, and work in partnership with Compliance and other teams for information sharing and transaction accuracy.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in managing Loan Operations.
  • Strong PC skills (MS Office).
  • Extensive experience in Loan Products, static data maintenance, and customer data management.
  • Understanding various system applications used for Lending.
  • Hands-on experience in managing stakeholders, governance, and toll gates.
  • Flexible in working in shifts.
  • Exposure to India-related regulatory guidelines and financial regulations.
  • Graduate and/or Post Graduate.
  • Good interpersonal skills and attention to details.
