Job Title: Senior Data Governance Leader

About the Role:

The Senior Data Governance Leader will oversee end-to-end delivery of data management practices, encompassing data engineering, data migration, data modernization, and data governance projects. This role requires a proven track record of ensuring delivery excellence through well-defined methodologies, standardized practices, and quality assurance frameworks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Define and Implement Best Practices: Develop and enforce best practices and standards for data project execution to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Project Health Monitoring: Monitor project health through key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and governance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Risk Management: Ensure risk management, escalation protocols, and change control processes are in place and effective to mitigate potential risks.
  • Data Strategy: Lead the creation and implementation of a data strategy that helps the organization collect, manage, use, and protect its data to support business goals and drive value.
  • Architecture and Design: Define scalable and secure data architecture for data pipelines, warehousing, and processing systems to meet business needs.
  • Technology Selection: Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools, platforms, and cloud services to support data management initiatives.
