Regulatory Expertise Opportunity

This role entails leading regulatory intelligence on domestic and export food labelling regulations across multiple markets, monitoring and analysing global updates, and providing strategic guidance in the nutraceuticals, health supplements, and functional foods sectors.

  • Lead regulatory analysis on domestic and export food labelling regulations across various markets.
  • Analyse and interpret global regulatory changes, identifying actionable implications for food businesses.
  • Develop a deep understanding of similarities and dissimilarities between national and international food laws regarding additives, ingredients, nutrition information, metrology nuances, front-of-pack labelling, and advertising claims.
  • Support the digitisation of regulatory frameworks into a software-as-a-service platform.
  • Provide strategic expertise in nutraceuticals, health supplements, and functional foods (an added advantage).

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in food science, nutrition, or regulatory affairs, with a focus on international food export regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of labelling standards, claims regulations, and compliance requirements in key global markets.
  • Proven ability to track and analyse regulatory changes, advisories, and amendments.
  • Familiarity with nutraceuticals and health supplement regulations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with industry professionals, clients, and regulators.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills to support the digitisation of regulatory processes.
