Software Quality Assurance
We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality of our web, mobile, and backend applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing and automation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, documenting, and executing test cases, as well as collaborating with developers and product teams to improve QA processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, document, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans for web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Perform manual functional testing as well as contribute to automation for regression and repetitive tasks.
- Test APIs (REST/GraphQL) for functionality, data validation, error handling, and performance.
- Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing for responsive web and mobile applications.
- Report, track, and verify defects using Jira or equivalent bug tracking tool.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps during sprints and release cycles.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and release testing.
- Contribute to building and enhancing automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, and Postman.
- Ensure quality in staging and production deployments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2–5 years of experience in QA/testing for Web, Mobile, and Backend systems.
- Hands-on experience in manual testing and exposure to automation testing.
- Familiarity with tools & frameworks: Web – Selenium / Cypress / Playwright, Mobile – Appium / Espresso / XCUITest, API – Postman / REST Assured / JMeter, Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
