Linux & Unix Support Role

We're seeking an experienced Linux and Unix professional to join our team.

This position involves providing technical support and expertise in the implementation of changes, maintenance, and future improvements.

You will work closely with other squad members to refine features, share your knowledge and improvement ideas, and align with priorities defined by the squad.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you'll work with peers to deliver high-quality service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Linux and Unix systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

In addition, you'll need excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of Linux and Unix systems
  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Agile and Scrum methodology
  • Business experience
  • Knowledge of banking and payments products (SWIFT Payments an asset)

Behavioral Skills:

  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and contexts
  • Proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving
  • Quick self-starter with a willingness to learn
