Job Title: Senior Linux System Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure

About the Role
  • We are seeking a skilled Senior Linux System Engineer to join our team. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure using Linux-based systems.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Cloud Infrastructure Design: Design and implement highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure using Linux-based systems, including servers, storage systems, and networking hardware.
  2. Linux System Administration: Manage, configure, and optimize Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar) to ensure high availability and performance.
  3. Kubernetes Management: Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability and scalability.
  4. Data Center & Hardware Operations: Oversee physical infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and networking hardware in on-premises data centers.
  5. Security & Compliance: Apply updates and security patches to Linux-based environments and ensure alignment with internal security and compliance policies.
  6. Collaboration & Support: Work closely with global teams to support enterprise systems and Kubernetes clusters.
  7. Incident & Case Management: Manage service tickets effectively using tools like ServiceNow or Salesforce.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven Experience: In Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, or equivalent), with certifications like RHCSA or RHCE.
  • Solid Knowledge: And practical experience in Kubernetes administration, with certifications like CKA or CKS.
  • Experience Working: With bare-metal infrastructure, including servers, storage arrays, and networking components.
  • Good Understanding: Of networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Strong Troubleshooting Skills: Across infrastructure layers, including hardware, OS, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Automation Tools: Like Ansible, Bash, or Python is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Monitoring: And observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack is a plus.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: With a focus on reliability, scalability, and automation.
