- Supporting the roll-out of new and upgraded applications
- Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password and domain issues
- Responding within agreed time limits to end-user calls
- Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate)
- Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time
- Connecting with vendors and OEMs for warranty/after-sales service and other tech requirements
- Understanding SLA and Compliance and adhering to it
- Keeping entire site up and running and managing a team of tech personnel
- Maximizing use of hardware and software by training users; interpreting instructions; answering questions
- Preparing reference for users by writing operating instructions and maintaining Dos and Don'ts lists
- Maintaining historical records by documenting hardware and software changes and revisions
- Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with users and colleagues
- Testing and evaluating new technology
- Conducting electrical and technical safety checks on computer equipment
- Providing daily call reports to your reporting manager
- Adhering to the company rules and policies
