**Job Title:** Business Development Manager - Polymer Industry Expert

**Position Overview & Responsibilities:**

We're looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager with a proven track record in the Polymer Industry. As a key player, you'll be instrumental in shaping our market presence, forging strategic alliances, and driving profitable revenue growth.

**Market Analysis:**

• Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities in the Polymer Industry for India and potential export markets.

• Develop sales strategies fueled by competitive intelligence and real-time market insights to enter new markets and acquire customers with a focus on Antioxidants, UV stabilizers, Functional Additives, Pigments, Fillers, etc. amongst other specialty chemicals.

**Own your PnL:**

• Crush PnL targets and manage cash flows through relentless lead generation, strategic prospecting, and quick conversion tactics.

• Deliver lightning-fast, accurate sales forecasts and reports to fuel growth engine.

• Collaborate with internal teams for documentation & process-driven order fulfillment.

**Hustle for building a Business:**

• Establish connections with end customers in the Polymer Industry ecosystem (focus on masterbatches, polymer compounds, PVC, Packaging and Engineering Polymer Industries) across India.

• Fearlessly negotiate and close deals that propel our growth trajectory for Sales.

• Swiftly address customer inquiries, continuous improvement for better conversion.

**Product Prowess:**

• Identify gaps in the market with a focus on the above-mentioned industries and product categories to build a profitable business.

• Stay on the bleeding edge of industry trends, product innovations, and regulatory shifts in the export Industrial Chemical market.

• Having thorough knowledge of necessary registration procedures for domestic licenses and work with internal teams to get it executed for compliant business.

**Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. MBA is a power-up.

• A minimum of 5 years of turbo-charged experience in sales or business development of Antioxidants, UV Stabilisers, Plasticizers, Colour Pigments, Titanium Dioxide, Fillers, PV Stabilizers and other additives with a spotlight on India and experience in exports would be a positive.

• Experience in selling commodity polymers with a strong customer network can be considered as well.

• Expertise in above-mentioned products, coupled with a keen sense of market trends and adaptive regulatory understanding.

• Proven ability to build and sustain impactful business relationships.

• The role requires candidates with an affinity for action and needs to adapt to a fast-moving environment.
