Merchant Banking Executive Leader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Merchant Banking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing IPO mandates from start to finish, ensuring timely preparation and submission of offer documents, and managing regulatory queries with accuracy and professionalism.

About the Role

  • Lead execution of IPO mandates, including due diligence, documentation, regulatory filings, marketing, and listing.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (origination, compliance, research, sales) and external advisors (lawyers, auditors, registrars).
  • Stay up-to-date with SEBI, MCA, and stock exchange regulations related to IPOs and public offerings.
  • Manage regulatory queries, observations, and approvals with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients during the IPO process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with promoters, board members, and senior employees of client companies.
  • Liaise with research and sales teams to ensure effective messaging to institutional and retail investors.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate reporting of all material data.
  • Liaise with third parties, including consultants, exchanges, and regulators.
  • Conduct financial and legal due diligence.
