Job Title: Financial Process Leader

The global team at Nouryon takes positive action every day to reach higher goals collectively and individually. This role will help us achieve those goals by managing our financial processes, ensuring transparency and accuracy in our financial reporting.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing best practices in financial process management, driving standardization, automation, and reporting across the functional areas. They will also work closely with the accounting and other finance departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

We are looking for a skilled professional who is proficient in Microsoft Office 365 applications, including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of ERP systems and Business Warehouse is a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be analytical and fact-based, and have experience in financial analyst / controlling functions.

The successful candidate will be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. They will be flexible and comfortable working in a demanding environment within an international context.

  • Develop and implement best practices in financial process management
  • Drive standardization, automation, and reporting across the functional areas
  • Work closely with accounting and other finance departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Manage monthly/quarterly/annual financial processes
  • Provide financial reporting in an insightful and actionable way to the functional leadership
  • Ensure business risks and opportunities are managed to deliver the best financial income

The role requires a Chartered Accountant/Cost & Management Accountant/MBA (Finance) from a B-School with relevant experience. We are interested in candidates with 5 – 8-year experience in financial analyst / controlling functions. Knowledge of SAP, PowerBi, and Business Warehouse is a plus.
