Job Description:

  • Detailed Functional Test (DFT) engineers play a crucial role in the development of Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) and System-on-Chip (SoC) designs.

  • They are responsible for designing and implementing test architectures to ensure the quality and reliability of these complex systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

  • Develop and implement DFT architectures for ASIC/SoC designs, ensuring seamless integration with RTL and physical design teams.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to insert and verify scan chains, boundary scan (JTAG), Memory BIST (MBIST), Logic BIST (LBIST), and other test structures.

  • Generate and validate test patterns using Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) tools for stuck-at, transition, and path delay faults.

  • Perform fault simulation and coverage analysis to optimize test quality and efficiency.

  • Support silicon bring-up and debug of test-related issues, working closely with ATE teams to develop test programs and support production testing.
