Shipping Management Expert

This role involves working with various aspects of PMS and other related systems to prepare documents as per requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping management and possess strong organizational skills, including project management and cost analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Analyzing PMS data and creating reports as per needs.
- Understanding client requirements and documenting them effectively.
- Analyzing gaps between user requirements and system features and providing input to the team.
- Testing functional aspects of modules developed by the team and producing reports.
- Contributing to training internal and external users on PMS and related systems.
- Creating software-related documents as per team requirements.
- Attaining vessels for implementation, issue fixing, and training purposes.
- Assisting vessels in data collection and updating PMS data onboard.
- Training shipboard personnel on PMS and other related systems.
- Providing support to vessels and remote offices for PMS and related systems.
- 3rd or 4th engineer with minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Shore experience in a shipping management company as a PMS coordinator/controller.
- Experience in enterprise computing needs of ship management companies.
- Strong organizational skills covering project management and cost analysis.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent typing and analyzing skills.
- Self-motivated, independent, and meticulous with an eye for detail.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
