At Gene Solutions, we are seeking a talented professional to join our research and product development team as a Data Analyst.

We require an individual with exceptional analytical skills and experience in analyzing large-scale biological data using next-generation sequencing (NGS) datasets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data analysis pipelines for NGS workflows, developing and applying machine learning models for classification and prediction, and contributing to scientific reports and publications based on biomedical data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced algorithms and statistical models to analyze complex biological data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize data analysis pipelines.
  • Apply machine learning techniques to improve the accuracy of predictive models.
  • Participate in large-scale data mining and algorithm development.
  • Contribute to the development of scientific reports and publications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
  • English communication skills are essential.
  • Strong programming skills in R, Python, and/or BASH.
  • Experience with Docker and cloud platforms is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good documentation and project tracking skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passionate about creating positive impact for the community.
