We are seeking a skilled Linux Tivoli professional to fill an Operations Specialist role.

Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will participate in daily operations of incident, service, and change request management according to established company standards.

  • Monitor and troubleshoot client systems, including consolidation, automation, and performance optimization.
  • Document operations and services, research methods, tools, and solutions, and provide training to colleagues.
  • Develop scripts and tools for routine tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Analyze system issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct thorough documentation of processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in the IT industry, preferably within a service-oriented environment dealing with system and backup operations.
  • Experience with enterprise-level backup and recovery solutions, such as Commvault.
  • Knowledge of Tape Libraries (IBM and Spectra logic), Network & VMWare, Windows, and Unix platforms.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills, with attention to detail and a process-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to work on shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
