Lead Analyst: Pricing Optimization Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Analyst to join our Pricing Analytics team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining descriptive and predictive analytics models that support our pricing strategy.

Your primary focus will be on translating business objectives into data-driven insights, gathering and wrangling large datasets, and delivering actionable recommendations to drive continuous improvement.

You will work closely with the Pricing team to identify opportunities for growth, develop statistical and machine learning models, and ensure accuracy of model results.

  • Pricing Strategy Development: Translate business goals and objectives into analytics requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Gather, explore, structure, enhance, and clean large datasets from internal and external sources.
  • Model Development: Research, design, and implement statistical and machine learning models to solve specific business problems.
  • Results Validation: Ensure accuracy of model results and build trust in their reliability.
  • Business Application: Apply machine learning model outcomes to relevant business use cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or Math.
  • 6+ years of experience in advanced quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning models.
  • Proficiency in common analytics and data science software and technologies such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level databases such as Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, DB2.
  • Technical expertise in data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau.

Desirable Skills:

  • Technical expertise in Alteryx and Knime.
