Pricing Analyst Position Overview

As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in identifying business opportunities, recommending solutions, and documenting requirements to drive the development of new and existing products for airlines. Your focus will be on shopping, pricing, reissues, and refunds using ATPCO fares and rules.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with airlines directly to provide innovative solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to manage projects from concept to implementation, and creating project requirements documents that define all the requirements during the concept phase.

Additionally, you will work with developers and project managers to ensure customer requirements are met during the development phase, support implementation and launch to market including managing pilots and beta tests.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years' experience in the travel industry (preferably with an airline reservation system, GDS, or travel agency).
  • Explicit ATPCO Automated Rules processing including automated reissues (Cat 31) and refunds (Cat 33).
  • Strong overall knowledge of ATPCO fares, pricing, and data application.
  • Strong business requirements gathering and documentation capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of IATA Fare Construction is a plus, and experience in gathering functional requirements and writing functional requirement documents.
