Pricing Analyst Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Analyst to drive deal pricing across multiple engagement models, ensuring competitive positioning while protecting profitability.

This role demands strong financial modeling, close collaboration with Sales & Delivery teams, and deep understanding of IT services deal structures. The ideal candidate will have expertise in deal pricing, financial modeling, and margin analysis, as well as solid understanding of IT services business models.

The successful candidate will lead deal pricing for pursuits across T&M, Fixed Price, and Managed Services contracts, partnering with Sales, Solutioning, and Delivery teams to design commercial models that balance client competitiveness with profitability objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Deal Pricing: Lead deal pricing for pursuits across multiple engagement models, ensuring competitive positioning while protecting profitability.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Partner with Sales, Solutioning, and Delivery teams to design commercial models that balance client competitiveness with profitability objectives.
  • Maintain Pricing Models: Develop, review, and maintain pricing models & cost sheets, ensuring compliance with internal approval processes.
  • Analyze Financial Data: Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to assess risks, margins, and financial impact of large deals.
  • Track Win-Loss Analysis: Track and publish win–loss analysis for submitted deals to identify pricing trends and improvement areas.
  • Support Business Planning: Support preparation and review of business unit P&L statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Deliver Profitability Reports: Deliver monthly profitability reports, highlighting key variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Provide Market Insights: Provide financial insights on market benchmarks, competitor pricing, and industry trends to strengthen pricing strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Deal Pricing Expertise: Strong expertise in deal pricing, financial modeling, and margin analysis.
  • IT Services Business Models: Solid understanding of IT services business models (Managed Services, Outsourcing, Application, Infrastructure).
  • Financial Systems: Proficiency in MS Excel, financial systems, and scenario modeling tools.
  • Analytical Mindset: Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders under tight deadlines.
  • Business Acumen: Business acumen to balance competitive pricing with long-term profitability.

Qualifications and Experience

  • MBA (Finance): MBA (Finance) from a recognized institution is mandatory.
  • Deal Pricing Experience: 3–6 years of experience in deal pricing / business finance / FP&A roles within IT services organizations is mandatory.
  • Global/Multi-Geo Deals: Experience supporting global/multi-geo deals is an added advantage.
