Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Production Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing production processes, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Development:
    • Select suitable materials, trims, and accessories for production.
    • Collaborate with designers to develop prototypes, including fabric selection, construction, fit, and quality.
    • Review and approve samples, confirming they meet design specifications and quality standards.
  • Planning and Scheduling:
    • Develop yearly and monthly production plans based on order requirements, capacity, and lead times.
    • Plan and allocate resources, including materials and labor.
    • Ensure timely availability of materials and resources, monitor production progress, and proactively address any issues or delays to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Identify and select reliable suppliers and manufacturers.
    • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors.
    • Ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of raw materials and components.
  • Costing and Budgeting:
    • Prepare accurate cost estimates for products, including materials, labor, and overhead.
    • Manage budgets and track expenses to ensure production costs remain within budget.
    • Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising quality.
  • Quality Control:
    • Establish quality standards and guidelines for production.
    • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks at various stages of production.
    • Collaborate with the production team to implement corrective actions.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
    • Ensure timely replenishment of materials to avoid production delays.
    • Optimize stock levels to minimize excess inventory and reduce waste.
  • Production Coordination:
    • Coordinate with various production departments, including production, logistics, and quality control.
    • Ensure smooth communication and workflow between teams.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of production activities, including orders, deliveries, and inspections.
    • Provide regular reports on production status, costs, and quality.
