We are seeking a seasoned testing leader to spearhead our data engineering pipeline and product delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to drive quality assurance across integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive testing frameworks for complex data pipelines and analytics platforms.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure test coverage across ETL/ELT, data transformation, lineage, and consumption layers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and DevOps teams to drive testing activities and coordinate release cycles.
  • Metrics and Process Improvement: Establish metrics and KPIs for testing effectiveness and product quality to drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: Strong SQL experience with major databases (Redshift, Bigquery, etc.) and knowledge of data pipeline tools (Apache Airflow, Kafka, Confluent, Spark, dbt, etc.).
  • Leadership Experience: 3+ years in leadership roles with experience managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Agile Environment: Proven track record with complex, multi-system integration testing in agile/scrum environments.
  • Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, bash) for test automation.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and their data services.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment while mentoring junior team members and promoting testing best practices.
