Senior API Automation Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional with expertise in API automation to lead our Quality Engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Selenium, and Cucumber, with at least 5 years of experience in API automation testing using Rest Assured or similar tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and build test automation frameworks from scratch, choosing the right frameworks based on project needs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Quality engineers to ensure seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Define and report Quality Engineering metrics to drive process improvements.

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in software testing, with a minimum of 2+ years in API automation testing.
  • Strong expertise in building Scenarios with BDD frameworks – Cucumber, Specflow, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and coding skills in Java/JavaScript, Core Java, Typescript, or similar.
