Chief Financial Officer Role:

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for overseeing the entire finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory requirements.

This role requires a Chartered Accountant with proven experience in managing end-to-end finance operations, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Planning & Strategy
    • Develop and implement financial plans to optimize cost and improve profitability.
    • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process to ensure alignment with business goals.
  2. Accounts & Reporting
    • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee team performance.
  3. Treasury Management & Working Capital
    • Manage cash flows, banking operations, and fund utilization efficiently.
    • Oversee working capital management, credit control, and debtor management.
  4. Cost Control & MIS
    • Implement effective cost accounting systems and monitor production-related costs.
    • Develop and present periodic reports to management for financial performance tracking.
  5. Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring skill development and high performance.
    • Establish strong internal controls and processes across the department.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Experience: 8 - 15 years post CA qualification experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in manufacturing (preferably metals/steel sector).
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, statutory compliance, cost control, and treasury management.
  • Proven track record in handling audits and managing working capital.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
