Job Title: Research and Development Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic research and innovation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing cosmetic formulations, conducting quality control tests, and evaluating product performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulation Development: Participate in the development and optimization of cosmetic formulations, focusing on various galenic forms, including serum formulations.
  • Quality Assessment: Conduct rigorous quality control tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards.
  • Characterization of Product Performance: Support the team in evaluating the performance of new and existing products by conducting various tests to assess efficacy, stability, sensorial attributes, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Cosmetic Ingredient Knowledge: A basic understanding of cosmetic raw materials and their functions.
  • Lab Proficiency: Familiarity with standard lab equipment and processes used in cosmetic formulation and analysis.
  • Emulsion and Cosmetic Technologies: Understanding of emulsion science and other relevant cosmetic technologies.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy, cosmetic science, or a related scientific field. Prior laboratory experience, preferably in a cosmetic or related industry setting, is a plus.
