Job Title: Python API Developer

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python API Developer to lead the development of high-quality RESTful APIs.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create scalable, efficient, and well-designed RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask.
  • Develop unit tests for code components using Pytest, unittest, or nose.
  • Maintain collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile/SCRUM development processes, including sprint planning, task estimation, and daily stand-ups.

The ideal candidate should have at least 8+ years of IT experience and 2+ years of working experience in the following areas:

  • RESTful API design principles.
  • Development of RESTful APIs using Python frameworks with FastAPI, Flask.
  • Fundamental understanding of Core Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Proficiency in at least one RDBMS such as PostgreSQL, MySQL.
  • Experience with SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database optimization.
  • Solid understanding of version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Pytest, unittest, or nose.
  • Experience with ORMs like SQLAlchemy is a plus.
  • Experience with Redis, Amazon S3, or Amazon SQS is a plus.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous programming in Python is a plus.
