Job Title: Senior API Developer

We are seeking an experienced developer to lead our API strategy and implementation.

About the Role:

  • Design, develop, and deploy APIs using APIGEE Edge or X.
  • Implement API proxies, policies (security, traffic management, mediation), and custom scripts.
  • Collaborate with architects and backend teams to define API contracts and integration strategies.
  • Evaluate and ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and meet performance benchmarks.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot API performance and availability issues.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for API deployments.
  • Maintain API documentation and version control.
  • Work with authentication/authorization mechanisms like OAuth 2.0 and JWT.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in API development using APIGEE.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Experience with security standards, cloud platforms, and CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of problem-solving, debugging, and collaboration skills.
