Job Description:

As a Home Care Nurse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the care and well-being of clients. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and support home care nurses and caregivers, ensuring they provide exceptional patient care.

You will be responsible for developing and updating individual care plans for clients, taking into account their unique needs and requirements. This includes creating care plans that ensure proper patient care, monitoring progress, and addressing any concerns or emergencies that may arise.

A key aspect of this role is training new staff and managing scheduling efficiently. You will also be responsible for conducting regular performance evaluations of staff, providing constructive feedback, and addressing any areas for improvement.

Additionally, you will handle scheduling and manage daily operations, ensuring all staff adhere to safety and hygiene standards. Your ability to work effectively under pressure and make sound decisions will be crucial in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a nurse manager or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
