Job Overview

The role of Senior Manager is a leadership position responsible for guiding a team that handles new business and end-to-end policy servicing for group business.

The successful candidate will work within the Operations Department, focusing on Group New Business & Policy Servicing to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Actuarial teams to ensure timely closure of individual Group processes
  • Ensure the issuance of policies and resolution of customer and intermediary queries in a timely manner
  • Maintain an efficient, effective, professional, and courteous service standard for intermediaries and customers
  • Implement and maintain quality controls to proactively manage and anticipate problems
  • Lead and train a high-performing team that meets the evolving business needs of the organization

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive transformation and digitization initiatives in group business
  • Coordinate with finance for accurate reconciliation of policy account balances

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree (MBA/ACII) with at least 8-10 years' experience in customer services or operations departments
  • Associate of Insurance Institute certification is a plus
  • Proven experience in operations within the financial services industry
  • Experience working in Group Operations departments of insurance companies is essential
  • Ability to drive operational efficiency through data processing
  • Proficient in using databases and office management software, including word processors and spreadsheets
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and influencing skills
