Telecommunications Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled telecommunications professional to join our team.

This role will involve creating and maintaining the infrastructure necessary for the growth and upkeep of field and network operations, including internet data centers, ATM sites, cable landing stations, and NW space to drive network efficiency and availability.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in procurement and technical planning of TGN and submarine cables owned by consortiums/TCL and will be able to effect cost savings. They will also be responsible for correcting mission critical utility infrastructure problems effectively at optimal costs and in a timely manner.

In this role, you will ensure necessary coordination on certification and field level testing as appropriate for the business segment. You will coordinate with technical teams for new enhancements/issue resolution.

You will drive initiatives, industrialization, and efficiencies to facilities for improvements, such as enhancements, updates, upgrades, and new systems. You will establish tools and procedures to monitor field operations performance, ensuring reliability and robustness of cable systems.

You will set up configurations, including number of fibre pairs in the cable, capacity, landing stations, and manage complete capacity distribution and traffic activation on the cable system.

This role requires providing manpower technical resource support for internal customers during project implementation and delivery. You will maintain critical power and environment quality standards to achieve optimal levels of operation, track, and monitor environment performance to ensure minimal interruption to network transmission and/or network switches.

Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all regulatory stipulations within the region and represent interests of TCL in the cable consortiums (IMEWE, SEAMEWE etc.)

Key Responsibilities:
