Job Title: Technical Specialist

Our organization is seeking an experienced technical professional to fill the position of Technical Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing your knowledge and expertise in IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming to develop and implement software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience in IBM AS400 iSeries platform and RPGLE programming is essential for success in this position.
  • Proficiency in Integrated Language Environment (ILE) and its tools is required.
  • Skilled in creating and debugging RPG/CL programs.
  • Able to create Sub-procedures, Subroutines, and Service Programs.
  • Familiarity with SEU, PDM, DFU, and Spool files is necessary.
  • Experience in iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS).
  • Knowledge of Web Services, XML, HTML, and JavaScript is an added advantage.
  • Ability to handle client requirements, create design documents, and guide clients through the development process.
  • Support juniors in development and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of RPGLE programming and IBM AS400 iSeries platform.
  • Proficiency in Integrated Language Environment (ILE) and its tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
