Job Description

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, and other DevOps tools.

You will also manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services in Amazon Web Services (AWS), leveraging native services like EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.

Developing and maintaining automation scripts using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages to streamline operations is another key aspect of this role.

Implementing and managing containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift is also an important part of this job.

Utilizing AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to define cloud infrastructure in code and manage deployments is another crucial responsibility.

Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to AWS services, cloud security, deployment processes, and system performance is essential for this role.

Collaborating with development and quality assurance teams to ensure efficient integration and deployment processes is also vital.

Monitoring, logging, and improving infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance is a critical aspect of this job.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in DevOps practices and cloud engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Minimum 2 years of scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Minimum 2 years of working with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, etc.
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve AWS Cloud-related issues.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in deploying and supporting AWS-native applications.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience using AWS CDK to provision infrastructure as code (IaC).

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering and related field.
