Cloud Infrastructure Leader

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps professional to lead our team in building, deploying and managing functional applications on cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in overall DevOps, including 1 year in a leadership role. Key responsibilities include planning, designing and maintaining cloud infrastructure for high-traffic workloads; driving automation of tasks and implementing infrastructure services; identifying and resolving potential risks within the infrastructure, network or security.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a globally distributed team in building, deploying and managing functional applications on cloud infrastructure
  • Plan, design and maintain cloud infrastructure for high-traffic workloads
  • Drive automation of tasks and implement infrastructure services
  • Identify and resolve potential risks within the infrastructure, network or security
  • Research and implement new technologies and solutions to improve infrastructure performance, reliability, availability, security and efficiency on AWS

A strong understanding of software architecture design skills for maintaining High Availability and Fault Tolerance is required. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to DevOps engineers and document and audit DevOps practices.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and related cluster components such as logging, metrics, security, RBAC, autoscaling etc.
  • Experience with AWS, including a broad range of AWS technologies such as EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, EKS, ECS, Security Hub, DynamoDB, Secret Manager and Guard Duty
  • Expertise in DevOps technologies like Ansible, Terraform, Salt, Bash Scripting, CI/CD etc.
  • Good programming experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, Java or Go
  • Experience working with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus preferred)
  • Knowledge of cloud security (AWS Well-Architected Framework)
  • Strong Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
