Cloud Architect Position

We are seeking an experienced cloud architect to lead our large-scale migration from traditional data centers to AWS. The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large-scale migrations from traditional data centers to AWS.
  • Design and implement cloud architecture solutions using core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, AWS Backup, and Direct Connect.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of AWS services and their applications in manufacturing environments.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop tailored cloud solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in cloud computing.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of hybrid-cloud environments, including on-premise to cloud replication, failover patterns, and advanced networking.
  • Implement disaster recovery and high availability strategies for critical systems.

Requirements:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on manufacturing environments.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale migrations from traditional data centers to AWS.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing cloud architecture solutions using core AWS services.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
  • Experience in architecting complex hybrid-cloud environments, including on-premise to cloud replication, failover patterns, and advanced networking.
  • Direct experience in a manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of production constraints and shop floor systems (MES/SCADA).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing-specific ERP systems like Radius and its associated applications.
