Cloud Infrastructure Architect Lead

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and high-performance workloads.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions using GCP.
  • Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in an infrastructure engineer or similar role.
  • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • Proven ability to architect for scale, availability, and high-performance workloads.
  • Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and related tools (Helm, Kustomize).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
  • Experience with security, audit, and compliance best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in technical leadership and mentoring.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes Certified Administrator, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Software development experience (e.g., Python).
  • Experience with machine learning infrastructure.
