Job Summary

J & H Control System LLP is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team. As an Inventory Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, processing purchasing orders, and tracking orders and problems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, process purchasing orders as required, and track orders and investigate problems.
  2. Record Keeping: Record purchases, maintain database, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  3. Inventory Receiving: Receive, unpack, and deliver goods, re-stock items as necessary, and label shelves.
  4. Accounting: Process and/or approve invoices for payment.
  5. Returns: Process and document returns as required following established procedures.
  6. Clerical Duties: Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.
  7. Leadership: May serve as cashier and handle cash and cash-related payments. May lead, guide, and train staff/student employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work.
  8. Miscellaneous: Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: B.Com; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Skills: Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control, database management skills, ability to analyze and solve problems, and ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
