Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team at J & H Control system LLP. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels, processing purchasing orders, and tracking orders and investigating problems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control, as well as excellent database management skills and the ability to analyze and solve problems.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for receiving, stocking, and delivering goods, processing and/or approving invoices for payment, and performing routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.

Additionally, the successful candidate may lead, guide, and train staff/student employees, interns, and/or volunteers performing related work, and may participate in the recruitment of volunteers, as appropriate to the area of operation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Commerce; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Tally knowledge or work experience
Required Skills
  • Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
  • Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
  • Database management skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems.
  • Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
  • Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
  • Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
  • Knowledge of university invoicing procedures.
