This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced IT environment, providing top-notch support to our users.
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an IT Service Desk Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in customer service or a help desk environment, with a strong interest in the IT field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot common IT problems and possess a thorough working knowledge of day-to-day operating environments, available tools, and client applications.
- Handle Tier 1 help desk escalations through our internal ticketing system.
- Perform basic Windows administration, such as password resets and file and folder management.
- Conduct basic internet connection troubleshooting.
- Elevate more complex technical issues to Technical Support Specialists or other IT professionals as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all troubleshooting steps and create knowledgebase articles on resolutions.
- Adhere to established IT policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring conformity with information systems objectives and protocols.
- Ensure compliance with policy adherence, including password management, documentation, maintenance, access provisioning, and data protection procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with day-to-day operating environments, available tools, and client applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detailed-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Windows administration and basic internet connection troubleshooting.
