Job Title: Automation Expert for Medical Devices

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our automation testing activities across medical devices projects. This role requires a technical leader who can drive and oversee automation testing initiatives, ensuring compliance with global healthcare regulations and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of all test automation activities across medical devices' projects.
  • Review and approval of test scripts prior to submission for acceptance by the Product Owner (PO) or Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Implementation of best practices in test automation.
  • Mentoring and coaching engineers in automation testing methodologies.
  • Building technical capabilities within the team to handle complex testing scenarios.
  • Adherence to global healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Interpretation of regulatory requirements and alignment of testing practices accordingly.
  • Liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Alignment between technical and business requirements.
  • Hands-on technical support and guidance when necessary.
  • Monitoring emerging trends and innovations in test automation for potential adoption.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years in testing, with at least recent 5 years in test automation.
  • Development and maintenance of automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium.
  • A proven track record of leading automation testing for medical devices.
  • Experience in desktop-based automation on platforms (Windows based), FlaUI/WinAppDriver/TestComplete/WhiteFramework.
  • Hands-on experience in script review and technical documentation.
  • Familiarity with global healthcare regulations.
  • Experience interpreting and applying these regulations in testing scenarios.
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership, coaching, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
