Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Device Engineer to lead the development of Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) dosage forms and injectable drug-device combination products. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in medical device characterization, design verification, and regulatory submissions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating with device manufacturers to select the right devices;
  • Conducting design verification to comply with defined user requirements;
  • Developing test methods and fixtures;
  • Performing relevant testing and validation;
  • Creating in-silico clinical simulations for patient safety, efficacy, and clinical outcomes;
  • Supporting commercial product launches for MDI portfolio;
  • Leveraging basic knowledge in medical devices, CFD, and other simulation tools;
  • Familiarity with aerosol testing methodologies;
  • Drug deposition modeling and predictions;
  • CFD interpretation from modeling data;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical preferable);
  • Around 12 years of experience in medical device development or drug delivery devices in pharmaceutical industry;
  • Knowledge in medical devices, combination product development;
  • Authoring Design History File;
  • Test Method development and validation;
  • Primary container closures system and regulatory expectations;
