We are now expanding our IoT division and seeking a
skilled IoT Device Development Engineer
to design, program, and deploy next-generation IoT devices that integrate seamlessly with our cloud platforms and drone-based monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • IoT Device Development
  • Design, prototype, and develop customized IoT devices for agriculture, irrigation, energy monitoring, and defense applications.
  • Select and integrate microcontrollers, sensors, and communication modules (Wi-Fi, 4G/LTE, LoRa, ZigBee, etc.).
  • Write and optimize firmware for reliable data acquisition and real-time communication.
  • PCB Design & Hardware Integration
  • Design customized PCBs using Altium, KiCad, or Eagle.
  • Ensure power-efficient, reliable, and cost-effective hardware designs.
  • Test and debug hardware prototypes and optimize for manufacturing.
  • Software & API Development
  • Develop device firmware in C/C++/Python/Embedded C
    .
  • Build APIs to connect devices with Aeronics' cloud dashboards, mobile apps, and partner platforms.
  • Implement secure communication protocols (MQTT, HTTPS, TLS/SSL).
  • Testing & Deployment
  • Conduct testing for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot field issues and optimize device performance.
  • Support documentation, version control, and field deployment of IoT devices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.Tech / B.E in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in
    C/C++/Python/Embedded C
    .
  • Experience with microcontrollers like
    ESP32, STM32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi
    .
  • Proficiency in
    PCB design software
    (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar).
  • Knowledge of
    IoT communication protocols
    (MQTT, HTTP, Modbus, CoAP).
  • Experience in API development (
    RESTful APIs, , Flask/Django
    preferred).
  • Hands-on debugging and circuit troubleshooting experience.

Preferred (Good to Have):

  • Experience with
    low-power and battery-operated IoT devices
    .
  • Exposure to
    industrial communication protocols
    (RS485, CAN, Modbus).
  • Cloud IoT platform experience (
    AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Google Cloud IoT
    ).
  • Prior exposure to
    agriculture IoT, irrigation, or energy monitoring solutions
    .
