Cybersecurity Professional

Job Summary:

Cybersecurity is a top priority for medical devices. We are seeking a skilled professional to monitor and assess threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and impact analyses using FDA, ISO/IEC 81001-5-1, and NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Lead post-market security investigations, coordinate vulnerability response, and remediate activities.
  • Collaborate with product teams to develop and deploy security patches and updates.
  • Maintain and improve post-market surveillance processes for cybersecurity.
  • Support regulatory submissions and audits related to post-market cybersecurity.
  • Contribute to security incident response planning and execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (completed and verified prior to start).
  • At least six years of general cybersecurity experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Three years of product security experience, preferably in medical devices, in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Three years of vulnerability management experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Experience assessing and improving cybersecurity maturity using the NIST CSF Implementation Tiers.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with IT, business partners, and internal and external audits.
